The Village Hall, dating from 1910, was completely refurbished in 2012. It was a huge effort supported by parishioners and village businesses and clubs. We are very grateful also for the support given by our major grant funders whose logos are at the foot of this page.
It is available for hire and parishioners are given special rates.
The hall has a stage, a modern audio visual system and a well equipped servery. There is also a separate meeting room. There is parking behind and opposite. The hall has an access ramp and a well equipped disabled toilet.

The committee is made up of representatives of the organisations in the village who may use the Hall, and can co-opt other members. It is responsible for the day to day running of the hall, including cleaning and bookings, which should be made through the bookings secretary.

Here's a plan
A group led by the Village Hall Committee Chairman, John Scott, refurbished the hall in 2012. The main objectives were to make the hall both weather and draught proof with the interior being light, warm, welcoming and cosy and equipped to modern standards. All these objectives have been achieved.
