Playgroup OFSTED report

Longparish Playgroup has had a big boost this Spring.   It's received an extremely encouraging report from the OFSTED inspector.   Her conclusions point out the high quality of care that children receive at the playgroup, especially in the development of their maths, literacy and creative skills.

Staff are delighted with the report which says the curriculum is ‘particularly well planned' with ‘a good range of activities'.   And the inspector is impressed by the strong relationship that exists between staff and parents.

She has, however, suggested the children should have some of their own climbing equipment with which to improve their ‘large physical skills'.   Steps have already been taken to sort that out.   (See the report below.)
