Longparish Mummers' Play - revived 2013The Village Handbook explains that Longparish had some distinctive customs. The Christmas Mummers play which is preserved in the Church used to be performed in the big houses, and the mummers were given food and ale. The play was revived in 2013 after a break of over 80 year. To find out more just click on the picture aside. |

22/23 November 2013 - Gosforth's Fete and Last Tango in Little GrimleyThe double bill in the newly refurbished village hall played to packed houses both nights. The new lights and sound system were put to good use and the format of two short plays with breaks for a BYO meal worked well. The Continental Quilt - 16 and 17 May 2008A farce by Joan Greening. This production was a long time at the conceptual stage which gave us plenty of time to hone it and turned out very well.
